Ideas, printed
layer by layer.
Kotranix designs and manufactures premium 3D printed objects, and turns your own files into finished parts — engineered, printed and shipped by a team obsessed with precision.
A 3D printing company built by makers, for makers.
Kotranix started in a two-printer garage with a simple frustration: getting a single custom part made in India meant weeks of back-and-forth with a factory that had no interest in a run of one. We built the studio we wished existed.
Today we run a fleet of industrial FDM, resin and powder-bed printers, backed by an in-house design team that checks every file for printability before it ever reaches the build plate. Whether it's a single replacement bracket or a 500-unit product run, the same standard applies — tight tolerances, honest lead times and a real person you can talk to.
- 01
Engineered, not eyeballed
Every model is checked for wall thickness, overhangs and tolerances before printing.
- 02
Studio-grade finishing
Sanding, vapor smoothing, dyeing and assembly done by hand in-house.
- 03
Made in India
Designed and printed at our Coimbatore facility, shipped nationwide.
- 04
Low-waste process
Recyclable filament spools and reclaimed resin cut material waste by 30%.
Have a reference? We'll turn it into a finished part.
Don't worry if you don't have a 3D file — a photo, sketch, video or even a rough description is enough to start. Every request is priced by hand, based on the model, size, finish and any painting work involved.
Send a reference
A photo, video, GIF or 3D file — whatever you already have is fine.
We model & scope it
Our team builds or preps the 3D model and works out material, size and finish.
You get a manual quote
A real person prices it and emails you back — no auto-generated numbers.
Print, finish, ship
Once approved, we print, paint if requested, and deliver to your address.
From file to finished part in six steps.
The same rigorous pipeline runs whether you're ordering one bracket or a production batch of five hundred — here's one recent build, start to finish.
Twelve materials. Three print technologies.
From a light decorative vase to a load-bearing bracket, we match the process to the part.

PLA+
FDMCrisp detail and a wide color range. The default for décor, prototypes and display pieces.

PETG
FDMTougher and more flexible than PLA, with real impact resistance for everyday functional parts.
ABS
FDMHeat and impact resistant. Ideal for automotive fixtures, enclosures and tooling jigs.

TPU
FDMA rubber-like flexible filament that bends and flexes without cracking — built for phone cases, slipper soles and wearable parts.

Standard Resin
SLAUltra-fine detail down to 25 microns — the choice for miniatures, jewelry masters and art pieces.

Nylon PA12
SLSStrong, flexible and support-free printing — built for hinges, snap-fits and production runs.
Metal-Filled Composite
FDMBronze, copper or steel-filled filament for weighty, premium-feel decorative and collector pieces.
ASA
FDMUV and weather resistant where ABS fades and cracks — built for outdoor fixtures, signage and drone frames.

Polycarbonate
FDMThe toughest FDM material we stock — near-unbreakable and heat resistant, for protective covers and jigs.

Wood-Fill
FDMReal wood fibre blended into PLA — sands, stains and smells like timber for warm, natural-finish décor.

Carbon-Fibre Reinforced
FDMChopped carbon fibre in a PETG or nylon base for maximum stiffness-to-weight — our racing drone frame material.
PVA Support
FDMA water-soluble support material that dissolves away cleanly — used for complex overhangs and internal channels other filaments can't support.
Built for people who care how it's made.
Precision engineering
0.05mm layer resolution and dimensional checks on every batch.
Rapid turnaround
Most standard orders print and ship within 24–72 hours.
Sustainable materials
Recycled PLA, reclaimed resin and minimal-waste support structures.
Real human support
Talk to the engineer working on your file, not a support queue.

Trusted by makers, studios and engineers.
Everything you're wondering, answered.
STL, OBJ, STEP, STP and 3MF are all supported. No file yet? Send a sketch, reference photo or rough dimensions and our design team can model it for you for a small design fee.
The instant estimate is based on volume, material and print time and is accurate within roughly 10% for most parts. An engineer confirms the final price by email after reviewing your file, before anything is charged.
Yes — we regularly run batches from 50 to several thousand units across FDM, SLA and SLS. Bulk orders get dedicated tolerance sign-off and volume pricing; reach out through the custom quote form and select a quantity above 50.
Most single-part orders leave the studio within 24–72 hours of order confirmation. Complex assemblies, multi-color jobs or large batch orders typically take 5–10 business days — you'll get a specific estimate with your quote.
Yes. Our in-house designers can model a part from a photo, sketch, sample or written spec. Add a note to your quote request describing what you need and we'll follow up with a scoped design estimate.
If a part arrives damaged or doesn't match the confirmed specification, we reprint or refund it at no cost. Custom parts built exactly to a confirmed file and spec are not eligible for change-of-mind returns.
